Kayochan, SAITO Kayo, as a woman student of department of mathematics in faculty of education of one national university.
Producer set this character based on an existing former woman student in 1990's.
Kayochan is famous woman student as a good accordion player and she is with a ponytail, her trademark.
Kayochan has a worry that she is so little that she is often taken as junior high school student, however, she is a famous player of the accordion in Japan.
Of course, Kayochan has learnt the piano since she was a child, and she played the clarinet in brass band of junior high school and in one of senior high school.
Kaorichan, another original featured character by Producer, is Kayochan's class mate, and Ayachan, also original featured character by Producer is her junior.
Kayochan teaches Yuchan, NAKAMURA Yuko, Norikochan, KANDA Noriko, Makichan, MIZUTAI Maki and Chikachan/Iinco, SATAKE Chika at the junior high school attached to the university she goes, and both Kayochan and Makichan are in the same music club.
Mikachan, SUZUKI Mika, a class representative of one public junior high school is one of Kayochan's juniors as a cralinet player of a brass band of the junior high school.
